Description
A bacterial wheat pathogen causing the disease bacterial leaf streak and bacterial black chaff, this polycyclic pathogen can cause sever yield loss under favorable conditions. Survival can occur in seed, soil and field debris, as well as in perennial weeds. DNA testing of seed and suspected plant material is advised for positive identification.
